Yard House Downtown Denver

Lewis, et al. v. Yard House Downtown Denver, et al., 11-cv-01585-WYD-KMT

Yard House Restaurant at the corner of the 16th Street Mall and Tremont Place joins in this growing number of newly constructed or altered public accommodations that deny full and equal access.  Renovated last year, the Yard House has one step at its front entrance, making it inaccessible to anyone who uses a wheelchair.  See complaint filed yesterday in federal court, complete with pictures.

The complaint was filed June 16, 2011.

Based on CCDC’s settlement agreement with the Yard House an ADA compliant ramp has been installed at the front entrance.  CCDC’s legal program inspected the ramp and is pleased that the Yard House was willing to install the ramp.

Please let us know if you ever have any difficulties entering the Yard House.
