Kontnik et al. v. Denver County Court, 2022CV032599

On September 9, 2022, Spencer Kontnik and the Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition filed a lawsuit in Denver District Court alleging the Denver County Court discriminated against Mr. Kontnik on the basis of his hearing disability in violation of the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act. On September 23, 2022, Plaintiffs filed an Amended Complaint. That document may be found below.

On October 18, 2022, Defendant Denver County Court filed a Motion to Dismiss Pursuant to C.R.C.P. 12(b)(5). That document may be found below.

On November 8, 2022, Plaintiffs filed their Opposition to the Motion to Dismiss Pursuant to C.R.C.P. 12(b)(5). That document may be found below.

On November 15, 2022, Defendant filed its Reply in Support of Motion to Dismiss. That document may be found below.

On February 11, 2023, Judge Mark T. Bailey ruled against Denver County Court on all aspects of the Motion to Dismiss. The case will continue. The Order may be found below.
