Pueblo Cross-Disability Coalition

About Us:

Pueblo Access for All was established in 1997 with a membership of about 15, settling in at about 6 regular members. Pueblo is the fourth largest city in the state and has a higher per capita percentage of people in every disability category compared to the national average. The cost of living is one of the lowest in the nation and we are dedicated to making the city the most accessible as well.

Our crowning victory is a commitment from the Historic Arkansas River Project to build a fully accessible monument to living veterans, the first of its kind in the country. The Veterans’ Bridge will feature two beautifully crafted ramps designed to connect with and provide access to future businesses and the trail system. The elevated spiral ramp on the southwestern side will feature a sculpture of a Native American titled “Walking Under the Stars.” We will celebrate the dedication on November 11, 2010.

Focus Area:

ADA Information, awareness and compliance
