Our Mission: is to ensure that people with disabilities receive full access to the communities we live, work, play, shop, and worship in, and will be included in all decisions about our lives at all steps of the process. Our Vision: Disabled individuals have the right to full access to the American Dream. About us: The Denver Metro Region of CCDC holds Quarterly Business Meetings (every three months), supplemented by special events and a monthly eNewsletter “Metro Region Bulletin”. The Denver Metro Region consists of these counties: Adams County; Arapahoe County; Boulder; Broomfield, City & County of; Clear Creek County; Denver, City & County of; Douglas County; Elbert County; Gilpin County; Jefferson County; Park County. and the following cities: Arvada; Aurora; Bennett; Boulder; Bow Mar; Brighton; Broomfield; Castle Pines; Castle Rock; Centennial; Cherry Hills Village; Columbine; Commerce City; Dacono; Denver; Edgewater; Englewood; Erie; Evergreen; Federal Heights; Firestone; Foxfield; Frederick; Glendale; Golden; Greenwood Village; Highlands Ranch; Ken Caryl; Lafayette; Lakeside; Lakewood; Larkspur; Littleton; Lochbuie; Lone Tree; Longmont; Louisville; Morrison; Nederland; Northglenn; Parker; Sheridan; Sherrelwood; Superior; Thornton; Welby; Westminster; Wheat Ridge. Focus Areas: The Denver Metro Region has a large, varied demographic. 2011 efforts will include working at the state legislative level to create systems change; continuing to promote CCDC through community outreach events and activities; participating in the Medicaid Infrastructure Grant (MIG) workgroups; ongoing collaboration with access-a-Ride and its services.
