About us:
We are one of the oldest groups in the state. Our original members go back to 1998. We’ve been through a lot of changes over the years and now number about six active members. We serve La Plata, Montezuma and Dolores counties.Focus Areas: rural access, rural inclusion on statewide committees, health care, individual advocacy and housing.
Accomplishments:
We have established an online support group for people receiving services through the Consumer Directed Services and Supports program. Learn about how to get the best services and organize for positive change. You can join by going to http://groups.yahoo.com/cdas-usa and log in.
Upcoming Events/Meetings:
We meet monthly on third Wednesdays (subject to weather, of course) at the Cortez Journal from 3 to 5. Times and places change.
