Public Housing authorities refuse to allow people with disabilities who are also parents to reside in subsidized buildings that are designated for people with disabilities and the elderly in violation of the prohibition against familial status discrimination in the Fair Housing Act.

Plaintiff filed its complaint on June 27, 2006. The case settled with policy changes in December 2006.
