Issues
King Soopers, a subsidiary of Kroger, has failed to design and construct new stores, remodel older store, or remove barriers in existing stores to be complaint with Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Barriers include counters that are too high, checkout lanes that are too narrow, queue lines that are too narrow, inadequate accessible parking, and merchandise displays that block access in aisles.
Status
The case settled and King Soopers is improving access at all King Soopers and City Market stores in Colorado.
