The Fair Housing Amendments Act and the Federal Fair Housing Act make housing discrimination in the sale, financing, or rental of housing or housing-related services unlawful if based upon:

  • Race
  • Color
  • Religion
  • National Origin
  • Gender
  • Familial Status (having children in the home under the age of 18)
  • Disability
