CCDC Irish Spring Fling!

Please join us on March 6, 2010 at Katie Mullen's for Irish food, Irish Music, and fun! Ticket proceeds go towards CCDC programs benefiting people with disabilities throughout Colorado.

About Katie Mullens:  100% Irish owned and operated, Katie Mullen's is Denver's largest and newest premium Irish Restaurant and Bar. Katie Mullen's showcases a mixture of the old world charm infused with a modern take on the Irish bar. Katie Mullen's menu is extensive and will appeal to all taste buds as it infuses some delightful Irish dishes while also entertaining American classic dishes. All of our traditional Irish breads are baked on-premise, and our food is prepared fresh daily with all products sourced locally. Under the watchful eye of Executive Chef John Ruane, batches of Irish stew, Sheperds pie and other Irish classics are prepared daily along with the daily batch of home made soda and brown bread.

Katie Mullen's four themed areas include the magnificent Victorian Bar, the bustling Gaelic bar, the reflective Pharmacy room and the traditional "snug" like Shop bar. All areas are themed with distinctive features with emphasis placed on the hand carved mahogany and Oak counters and back bars. All furniture was sourced and shipped from Nugent and Gibney in Ireland and entails a 12 top high table in the Victorian bar and a 10 top bench style mahogany table in the Pharmacy bar.

About CCDC:  2010 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition.  CCDC was created to implement the American's with Disabilities Act throughout Colorado and is unique and a powerful voice advocating for basic civil and human rights for people with disabilities. Our work benefits all 500,000 disabled Colorado residents.  We have made numerous sustainable improvements regarding access in Colorado including: the State Capitol, Red Rocks Amphitheater; Landmark Theaters and the Regional Transportation District (RTD).

CCDC takes pride that our initiatives have saved taxpayers millions of dollars, while benefiting our members. Since 1990, we have been the sole organization uniting people with all types of disabilities across Colorado.  Our advocacy program protects and defends people with disabilities who have been abused or retaliated against and our efforts work to prevent secondary disabilities that often occur as a result of dysfunctional systems.
